A fantastic evening of dinner, drinks and dancing was enjoyed at the Esferic venue, where the winners and highly commended entries were announced at the IAB Europe Research Awards ceremony, presented by Catherine Borrel, IAB Europe's Research Manager and Roy Patel of Lightspeed Research, the sponsors of the awards.
IAB Europe has a long standing commitment to digital advertising research. Insightful research helps advertisers make the best choices among the infinite communications options offered by digital media, therefore playing a vital role in driving the industry forward. The IAB Europe Research competition has been launched this year to encourage and recognize projects that present relevant stories from across the European digital landscape, and we welcome the opportunity to share these flagship research initiatives with the market.
The judging panel was greatly impressed by the quality and range of the entries to this competition from all over the European market. Local, Pan-European and Global projects all featured strongly, along side a wide range of focus areas. They were looking for research results that empower the advertiser to make the most of digital communications based on robust methodologies and commercially relevant topics. The winning entries stood out for their clearly presented results featuring actionable insights.We are delighted to announce the winners of the inaugural IAB Europe Research Awards 2011:
