The Association of Television and Radio Sales Houses (egta) is the trade association of advertising sales houses (either independent from the channel or in-house) which commercialise the advertising space of both private and public TV/radio stations all over the continent. In addition to the traditional monitoring, lobbying and regulatory tasks of Brussels-based trade associations, egta is unique insofar as its fields of activities are extremely diverse and include training, research and databases, marketing and sales, sports, audience measurement, interactivity, new media, cross media and integrated marketing, etc.
egta commits to addressing the needs of advertising sales houses, whether individual or common, to help them secure their revenue and build a promising future for commercial communications .
egta is of the opinion that a real network – rather than a collection of companies which all share the same logo – is built through the exchange of knowledge, the swapping of best practice, tools and systems, research findings and through relevant debates among experts.
