Ukraine (UAIA)London 15th September 2011: The Interactive Advertising Bureau Europe (IAB Europe) is pleased to announce that Mediascope is now available on Nielsen IMS Clear Decisions™ through an IAB Europe subscription service*.
Mediascope Europe is widely recognised as the benchmark consumer research study on the European media landscape. With historical data from 2003, the research identifies changing media consumption patterns across online, radio, TV, mobile, newspapers and magazines in up to 15 markets. Emerging and evolving online media including video consumption and social media are investigated in depth to give a rounded picture of the interactive consumer. The research also includes e-commerce trends. Mediascope Europe is used by leading media companies such as BBC Advertising, Microsoft Europe, Orange Advertising Network and Yahoo! Europe and media agencies across Europe such as Aegis Group, Initiative, MEC Interaction, Mindshare, MPG Mediacontacts, Starcom MediaVest Group and ZenithOptimedia.
IAB Europe is making both the latest 2010 Mediascope study and trend data available to subscribers through Nielsen’s planning tool, Nielsen IMS Clear Decisions™. The interactive tool will allow users to mine and manipulate the data by country, demographic or media user, enjoying rapid access to key data through a simple-to-use interface that many Mediascope users are already familiar with.
Marketers rely on the research findings in Mediascope to understand how consumer trends are developing across Europe as a whole, as well as assessing similarities and differences by market. The latest study covers 15 markets - UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Sweden, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland and Turkey and the next wave is due in 2012. IAB Europe aims to expand use of the study across its 26 local IABs ensuring that Mediascope Europe has maximum relevancy for this diverse region.
