Mission

The main mission of IAB Finland is to strengthen and promote Internet and interactive media in the field of marketing, advertising and sales by informing and developing education and co-operation. The aim of this co-operation is to increase the volume of online-advertising and to create the standards and guidelines that are needed in this field.

Members

IAB Finland consists of 75 organizations and approximately 400 members. The member companies include advertisers, media agencies, creative agencies, publishers, sales houses and service providers. Companies belonging to these groups can apply for membership.

Workgroups

By participating in workgroups and task forces, members of IAB Finland share their knowledge and experience to help the market grow and become more professional. IAB Finland has three active task forces: Measurement, Online advertising and Search.  With guidance of industry experts the operational office takes care of function of three other task forces which are Education and Events, Research and Communications/PR.

Contains information on IAB Finland and its organization, news and press releases, education and events, knowledge base with event presentations, publications and research, task force calendar with online registration, toolbox (glossary, sales guidelines, late creative policy, etc

E-newsletter
Newsletter for members at least twice a month.

Events

IAB Finland organizes breakfast seminars four times a year with variable amount of speakers on one subject. There are price reductions for members and each member is also entitled to a number of free entries.

Awards

IAB Finland co-operates with Effie and Finnish Ad-profit competition.

Special Projects

IDM
IAB Finland organizes for its members an educational programme, The IDM Certificate in Digital Marketing.  It is designed to give comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of digital marketing technologies and their marketing applications.

Online ad spend research
An important goal of IAB Finland is to make sure that the total amount of online advertising is included in the official ad spend research in Finland.
