On the 7th October 2009, Alain Heureux, President and CEO of IAB Europe will take part of the panel discussion - "IAB Bulgaria – opportunities and challenges". Alain will be joined by Jaroslaw Sobolewski – CEO of IAB Poland and board member of IAB Europe, and the moderator of the panel will be Plamen Russev - chairman of e-Academy and organiser of Webit.
The panel will provide more information about how the IAB works; how it supports the development of the market throughout Europe, and what the advantages are for the internet industry and the market members in this network. Panelists will also address the potential for creating IAB Bulgaria.
“IAB is global organization that establishes and lays out rules,” says Plamen Russev. “Bulgaria is still one of the few countries in Europe without an IAB, and for this reason my invitation and the visit of Alain Heureux and Jaroslaw Sobolewski are a sign and an opportunity for the representatives of the internet industry in Bulgaria to unite with clear rules, and work together towards growth of the market.”
Alain Heureux, President of IAB Europe. “It is a pleasure to visit Bulgaria for the first time at the invitation of Plamen Russev and to attend Webit – this remarkable event for digital industry in South-eastern Europe, where I hope to meet industry representatives of the region and Bulgaria in particular.”
