EURid, the European registry for .eu (Domain Names)

EURid is the organisation appointed by the European Commission as the registry for the .eu domain name. Over 3 million .eu domain names have been registered to date, with the third millionth .eu domain name taken on 11 January 2009 by a German citizen. Two and a half years after its launch, this confirms the success of the .eu top-level internet domain. It is the fourth most popular internet domain among European country domains and the ninth worldwide.  

By promoting a distinctly European online identity .eu helps citizens and businesses to reap the full benefits of the single market. Multinational companies and SMEs, NGOs and think tanks as well as individual Europeans have all adopted .eu to mark their web presence.

I-COM (Measurement)

The I-COM is an industry backed international forum for exploring measurement issues facing the Digital Advertising Industry, with the goals of international cooperation, information sharing and working toward consensus on best practices. I-COM is also the preeminent international community of Digital's Data Champions.

The scope of measurement disciplines which I-COM covers have grown to include: Audience Measurement, Advertising Effectiveness, Social Media Measurement, Competitive Monitoring, Consumer Insights, Targeting and Web Analytics. The event framework and content are agreed in the IPB (I-COM Programme Board) consisting of representatives of our Patronage Organisations. In order to ensure integration on national and regional levels, the I-COM is represented by GROs (Geographic Representative Organisations) in over 45 countries around the world.
