IAB Europe is the voice of digital business. Its mission is to protect, prove, promote and professionalise Europe's online advertising, media, research and analytics industries. Together with its members – companies and national trade associations – IAB Europe represents over 5,500 organisations.
The power of IAB Europe comes from its extensive membership at both country and corporate levels. Our national membership of 27 countries spans the entire continent - not only the mature markets of Western Europe, but also rapidly evolving markets including Croatia, Macedonia, Russia and Slovakia.
Our corporate membership includes advertisers, major media groups, publishers and portals, agencies, research companies and technology and service providers.

Promote: Raising standards and awareness
Our Committees and taskforces set standards for the digital and interactive advertising industry. They include the Policy Committee led by Stephan Noller (nugg.ad) acting as Chair, the Web Analytics Committee led by René Lamsfuss (Nielsen) and the Marketing and Research Committees.
We also have an active programme of events, including the annual Interact, IAB Europe Research Awards and MIXX Europe Awards as well as Executive Leadership Dinners and Regulatory Roundtables. We partner other organizations to offer IAB members discounts on other pan-European events. Our President and Vice-President speak at more than 40 events per year across the region including many national IAB events. Our press team represents our various activities to the media across Europe.

Protect: A Public Affairs recognised expertise
IAB Europe ensures that our industry is protected from unnecessary and ill-informed legislation that would restrict the growth of the online advertising industry. We are the industry’s primary representative to the European Parliament and Commission in Brussels and we maintain a staff of full-time lobbyists. Our experienced and dedicated team ensures that the regulator receives the right information at the right time to inform decisions. Our Policy Committee led by Stephan Nöller (nugg.ad) and Nick Stringer (IAB UK) and includes public affairs experts from member companies and countries.

IAB Europe is the only body that truly represents the interests of the European digital industry, and one of the goal of the association is to create greater trust with the European industry. We believe we have a key role in defining practices, in order to increase the engagement across the network on policy matters; and in increasing the focus on the business of standardisation and measurement across Europe.
